On May 14, the Penn Manor Girls Elite soccer U10 won the Central PA Youth Soccer League's Division 2 with a 4-2 win over the Dallastown Lightning. The team, made of 8-, 9-, and 10-year-old players, is 6-0 this spring and has outscored its opponents 27-9.
Coaches Jenna Fisher and Chris Lilley guided the team, whose members first began playing together in the fall. The captains were Evelyn Richard and Hartley Leet. Zoey Fisher was the team's leading goal scorer. Additionally, Thea Jones is recognized as the league's top goal tender.
