Social Security Basics To Be Discussed

Dauphin County Library System will offer Social Security Basics in September.

Participants will learn how current payroll choices can impact future Social Security benefits. During this interactive presentation, attendees will explore steps they can take to maximize their Social Security benefits, as well as what their benefit options are and what they can expect when cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) take effect.

Social Security Basics will be held at the following locations: Kline Library, 530 S. 29th St., Harrisburg, on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.; East Shore Area Library, 4501 Ethel St., Harrisburg, on Friday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to noon; and William H. and Marion C. Alexander Family Library, 200 W. Second St., Hummelstown, on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
