The Elizabeth Hughes Society will meet on Monday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown. The public is invited to attend.
The speaker will be Will Kiefer, founder of Bench Mark Program. Begun in 2014, the program helps Lancaster County youths through group workouts as well as discussions that lead to personal goal setting and guidance through a strength-based, skill-building program. Some teens are referred by local counseling offices or juvenile probation; Bench Mark has also reached kids confined to detention. The organization has served more than 600 students.
