Sparrow Place will host its Lift a Fork for Freedom! spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Saturday, June 27, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Grace Church Shrewsbury, 473 Plank Road, New Freedom, in the auditorium.
The dinner will include spaghetti with a choice of four sauces, a salad, bread, dessert, and a beverage. The sit-down dinner will be dependent on the local area's response to COVID-19 on that day. The auction will be held as usual, with social distancing rules in place, but the dinner may be converted to carryout only.
Separate prices have been set for adults, for seniors age 55 and up, and for children ages 4 to 11. Children age 3 and under may eat for free. Tickets will be available at the door, and carryout meals will be available.
Sparrow Place is a local, faith-based nonprofit that exists to provide restorative care to women who are survivors of human trafficking.
