On Wednesday, April 17, at 10:30 a.m. music and fun with Dave Consono will be featured. An energetic concert of songs and movement for children age 3 and over will take place.
A teen Easter egg hunt for youths age 11 through grade 12 will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18. Attendees will hunt for goodie-filled eggs outside the library and enjoy a slice of pizza afterward. Registration is required.
Local beekeeper and children's book author Greg Borneman will present a program on Friday, April 19, at 10:30 a.m. Borneman is the author of "Bussee: A Story About the Life of a Honeybee." Attendees will be able to meet the author, listen to the story, and learn about beekeeping and what it is like to be an author. The program is suitable for people of all ages and families.
Staff from state Rep. Danielle Friel Otten's district office will be at the library on April 19 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. to help residents with state services and questions about issues that concern them. Seniors age 65 and over can also sign up for their SEPTA Key Senior ID Card. There will also be information provided on Real ID, unclaimed property searches, the PA Yellow Dot Program, and more.
Lima Bean Story Time will take place on April 19 at 1 p.m. As part of the National Lima Bean Respect Day, guest reader will be Rep. Otten. Children age 5 through grade three are invited to enjoy stories, activities, and a simple craft.
