This spring, Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road, Lititz, will offer Backyard Story Times on Tuesday, April 6, through Thursday, June 24. Participants will gather outdoors in the library's backyard at 10 and 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Backyard Story Times are designed for children of all ages with a caregiver. Attendees should bring a blanket and place it near a green flag for social distancing purposes. Masks should be worn until the entire family is on its blanket. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be canceled.
Space is limited. Online registration will be available two weeks before each program. Readers may register using the weekly SignUpGenius button at http://www.lititzlibrary.org.
In addition, Zoom Story Times with Miss Shannon will begin on Monday, April 5, and will take place on Mondays at 10 a.m. The program is open to children of all ages. The program will last 30 minutes. To register, contact Shannon at srichard@lititzlibrary.org and provide the child's name and age.
