The Tent Troupe To Present Shows

St. James Lutheran Church, 2335 Cramer Road, Brogue, has announced its upcoming activities.

The Tent Troupe, a traveling summer tent theater troupe composed of students in ninth through 12th grades, will present two performances in the St. James Picnic Woods on Friday, June 28. The events are part of the group's 45th road tour, which includes drama performances and service projects in Pennsylvania and western Maryland.

At 2 p.m. the troupe will perform "Stuart Little" for youths of all ages. At 7:30 p.m., the group will stage a performance titled "Grimm Brothers Spectaculathon." Admission to the shows is free, though donations will be received. The public is invited. The St. James Picnic Woods is located on Brogueville Road near the St. James cemetery.

The quilt group will meet at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 1. New members are welcome.

The next Clothes Closet distribution will take place on Saturday, July 6, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Breakfast will served from 8 to 10 a.m.

The church holds a worship service at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays. Bible studies are offered at 8:30 a.m. on Sundays and 10 a.m. on Wednesdays. The Rev. Kathleen A. Kuehl is the pastor.
