"The Perfect Blend" will be the theme of worship services in December at St. John's United Church of Christ (UCC), 161 N. Main St., Red Lion.
The church choir will celebrate Christmas with a cantata on Sunday, Dec. 8, at the 10:15 a.m. service.
A special "Blue Christmas" gathering will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. Those who have lost a loved one, are dealing with illness, or are feeling lonely are particularly invited to attend.
On Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24, the church will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with several services. The 5 p.m. service will have a Celtic theme, and refreshments will follow. Beginning at 7 p.m., the children will present the Christmas pageant "Away in a Mango." At 10 p.m., there will be a candlelight Christmas Communion service with the choir and soloists.
