Haller Enterprises, the High Companies, and Turkey Hill have joined the Lancaster Barnstormers in presenting the outdoor Summer Movie Series at the Barnstormers' stadium, Prince Street, Lancaster. The series began on June 26. The animated movie "Wonder Park" will be featured on Friday, July 3, through Sunday, July 5.
The Lancaster community will get to watch movies on a state-of-the-art videoboard from the comfort of the outfield grass. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair to take in this experience from the safety of socially-distanced marked spaces on the field. Movie fare, including fresh popped popcorn, candy, and beverages, will be available for moviegoers to enjoy.
Movies will run Fridays through Sundays each week through the remainder of the summer. Gates will open at 7 p.m., with the movie beginning at 8 p.m. each evening.
Tickets are available for a set fee per person, regardless of age, at http://www.lancasterbarnstormers.com.
In addition to the Summer Movie Series, the Broken Bat Craft Beer Deck Bar and Grill at Clipper Magazine Stadium will be open to the public every Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 11 p.m. A large selection of outdoor games will be available at the Subaru Outdoor Experience, including cornhole, giant Jenga, shuffleboard, pingpong, and a variety of inflatable games featuring basketball, football, baseball, and more. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, the field will be open to play kickball, catch, and more. A variety of music will be featured on different days, and the stadium will also welcome some local musicians for live performances. There will be a fee at the door for entry.
At this time, only 250 people per movie screening along with 250 patrons at the Broken Bat Craft Beer Deck Bar and Grill will be permitted. For all events, proper safety precautions will be taken at the ballpark to protect visitors.
