The Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, has posted upcoming events. Pregistration is required by emailing governordick@hotmail.com or calling 717-964-3808. Callers should leave a name and phone number in case a program is canceled. All programs will begin at the environmental center.
A Summer Story Forest story time and hike for children will be offered on Friday, Aug. 6, at 10:30 a.m. There is a fee.
A fitness hike will take place on Sunday, Aug. 8, at 8 a.m. The faster-paced hike will cover 4 to 6 miles. The program is free.
