Students Announce College Choices

Seven Conestoga Valley High School (CVHS) student-athletes have committed to playing their respective sports after graduation from CVHS. They were recognized in a National Signing Day ceremony at CVHS on Feb. 3.

The honorees and their sports and college choices are the following: Shaylee Daniels, diving, Lafayette College; Conrad Dillman, lacrosse, McDaniel College; Brooke Eberly, field hockey, Indiana University of Pennsylvania; Ellie Livingston, field hockey, Liberty University; Abigail Morley, lacrosse, The College of William & Mary; Bella Silvaggio, field hockey, University of Vermont; and Richard Valverde-Gomez, soccer, Millersville University.

Shaylee is the daughter of John and Bobbi Daniels. She is a varsity cheerleader and a member of the varsity track and field team, and she was a member of the swim team as a senior. Outside of school, Shaylee was a competitive gymnast for 10 years, claiming two USAG Pennsylvania State Championships in vaulting. She is a distinguished honor roll student, a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society, a CV Mentor and a Link Crew leader. Shaylee is also a member of the SADD and FOCUS Clubs and the yearbook staff. Shaylee has not yet chosen her college major.

Conrad is the son of Brad and Anne Dillman. Conrad was a four-year varsity starter for the CV lacrosse and wrestling teams. As a lacrosse player, Conrad was named the team's Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman and sophomore. Conrad is an honor roll student and a four-year member of the Student Council, and he served as the Student Council treasurer this year. He is also active with the Fellowship of Christian Students. In college, Conrad intends to major in political science with a minor in history.

Brooke, daughter of Jen and Chad Eberly, was a four-year varsity starting goalkeeper for CV. She was named a Section I All-Star in 2019 and 2020. In 2019 she was also named a Lancaster-Lebanon (L-L) League All-Star and a PSFHCA All-State Honorable Mention. During her time at CV, Brooke earned honor roll and distinguished honor roll distinction. She was a PSFHCA All-State Academic Team member in 2019 and 2020 and was a L-L League Senior Academic All-Star in 2020. She is also a three-year member of the Buckskins' softball team and a CV Link Crew member. Brooke intends to major in biochemistry.

Ellie is the daughter of Brooke and Fin Livingston. Ellie was a four-year varsity letter winner as a forward on CV's field hockey team. She served as team captain her senior season. As a junior and senior, she ranked in the top three in points among all Section I players and was a First-Team Section I All-Star selection as a junior and senior. Ellie was an L-L League Academic All-Star and PSFHCA All-State Academic honoree in 2020. Ellie is a distinguished honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society. She is also a member of the CV Student Council. She intends to major in chemistry.

Abigail, daughter of Elizabeth and Luke Morley, is a four-year varsity starter at midfield for CV's girls' lacrosse team. Abigail was an L-L All-Star as a freshman and sophomore. She was the team's leading scorer as a sophomore and placed in the top 10 in goals in the L-L League that year. Abigail is also a four-year member of CV's field hockey team where she was a three-time Section All-Star and an All-State player as a senior. Abigail has earned All-League and All-State Academic All-Star status. She is a four-year member of the distinguished honor roll. a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society and the Student Council secretary. Abigail intends to major in biology.

Bella, daughter of Beth and Christian Silvaggio, was a four-year varsity starter for the Buckskins' field hockey team and served as team captain her final two seasons. She was an L-L League Section I and All-League All-Star in 2019 and 2020 and also earned PSFHCA All-State recognition those same years. Bella is also a varsity letter winner for CV's lacrosse team. She is a distinguished honor roll student, is a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society, and served as class secretary all four years. Bella is also vice president of the Student Council. She intends to pursue a major in biology.

Richard, son of Ricardo Valverde-Montalban and Maria-Piedad Gomez-Gallardo, was a three-year member of the boys' varsity soccer team. He was a two-time Attacking Player of the Year at CV and a two-time First-Team L-L League Section I All-Star. Richard is an honor roll student and a member of the Science National Honor Society. He intends to major in applied engineering and applied manufacturing technology at Millersville University.
