Ten Penn Manor middle school students participated in the Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association (LLMEA) Middle School Orchestra Festival, held on Nov. 23, 2019, at Lancaster Mennonite School.
Manor Middle School students Lauren Nissley, viola; Adeline Arkhurst, string bass; Libby McComsey, violin; and James Helm, violin, participated, along with Marticville Middle School students Autumn Kirkley, Ava Ritchie, Suren Clark, Olivia Horst, and Dana Raugh, all violinists, and Hannah Knutsen, a cellist.
Penn Manor High School freshman Nicole Chen was the guest pianist. The students performed with other students from public and private schools from throughout Lancaster and Lebanon counties. The Penn Manor students were nominated and placed in the festival by their school's music director.
