Salisbury Elementary School teachers Emily Frank and Matt Rogers recently participated in the annual birthday card contest sponsored by Rep. Bryan Cutler. Students voted on classmates' artwork, and the Pennsylvania-related designs of Damien McGinnis and Jonathan Uribe were chosen to represent the school.
The artwork was sent to Harrisburg to be considered for the birthday card design for the House of Representatives this year. Neither design was ultimately selected as the winning design, but school representatives said they are proud of Damien's and Jonathan's achievements.
