Presidential Certificate of Excellence Awards were given to 10 students at a recent awards ceremony at West Fallowfield Christian School. These awards are given to students who exhibit educational excellence in the fifth and eighth grades and who have achieved high academic goals through their hard work and dedication to learning.
Students who maintain both a grade point average of at least 3.5 and score in the top 15% in their standardized tests receive a gold Certificate of Excellence from the president and a lapel pin with the presidential seal. Students who score in the top 15% of their standardized testing scores or have a grade point average of 3.5 or better receive a silver Certificate of Achievement and a lapel pin.
Fifth-grade students who earned Certificates of Excellence are Caleb Campos, Evalyn Leaman, Isaiah Lucas, and Kennason Ware. Morgan O'Donnell and Rauri Ford earned Certificates of Achievement.
Eighth-graders who earned Certificates of Excellence are Kate Arnold, Eli Hershey, Jackson Leaman, and Rodney Lusby. Certificates of Achievement were presented to Joshua Bare, Tucker Eckman, Michael Harding, Daisy Herr, and Alexandria Longenecker.
