Elizabethtown Area High School students Evan Espenshade, Elizabeth Keim, Andrew Rambler, Ellyse Shenk, and Lindsi Umbrell recently earned their FFA jackets. The Pennsylvania FFA Alumni Association presents the jackets to selected first-year FFA participants.
Earning a jacket represents a student's commitment to the FFA program and the agriculture experience in general. Each jacket was awarded based on a completed application and a written essay on the topic "What the FFA Jacket Means to Me."
FFA is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. Mark Anderson, agricultural science teacher at the high school, is the club adviser.
