Do the Right Thing is a national program and a collaborative effort between Elizabethtown Area Communities That Care (EACTC), the Elizabethtown local police departments, and the Elizabethtown Area School District. The program seeks to recognize students in the community who have distinguished themselves through their accomplishments, attitude or outstanding efforts, and it emphasizes random acts of kindness that otherwise may go unnoticed. Nomination forms are available at http://www.eactc.org.
EACTC is a community organization committed to improving the lives of children, youths, and families in the Elizabethtown area. Using research-based programs, initiatives, and strategies, the organization guides and encourages youths in making positive choices about alcohol, drugs, and other high-risk behaviors. EACTC partners with the schools, parents, churches, and businesses to make positive changes in the community.
