Lititz Area Mennonite School (LAMS), 1050 E. Newport Road, Lititz, will present of C.S. Lewis' "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, and at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, and Friday, May 10.
The show includes more than 30 middle school actors, stage technicians, and sound/lighting crew members. The show is under the direction of Kristen LeFever, with production/stage management by Kate Henderson and technical oversight by Jim Bulgrien and Tom Turley. The stage adaptation is by Joseph Robinette.
The plot follows the four Pevensie children - Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy - as they enter the world of Narnia through an old wardrobe. Suddenly confronted with a cast of creatures and oversized, talking animals, the children must choose sides in what shortly escalates into an epic conflict between the Great Lion, Aslan (Abigail Zimmerman), and the Witch (Marissa Harrington).
