Lancaster County Parks and Recreation will offer a variety of summer camps to children ages 4 to 14. Camps will take place at the Lancaster County Environmental Center, 1 Nature's Way, Lancaster, unless noted otherwise.
Camps for preschoolers ages 4 to 5 will all run from 9 to 11 a.m. They include Art in Nature on Monday, June 13, to Wednesday, June 15; Critter Camp on Tuesday, July 5, to Thursday, July 7; Dinosaur Discovery on Tuesday, July 26, to Thursday, July 28; and Under the Sea on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Aug. 15, 17, and 19.
Camps for children ages 6 to 8 will all run from 9 a.m. to noon. They include Child vs. Wild at Pavilion 21 from Monday, June 13, to Friday, June 17, or Monday, Aug. 8, to Friday, Aug. 12; Outdoor Explorers on Monday, June 20, to Friday, June 24; Camp Geo from Monday, June 27, to Friday, July 1; All Creatures Great and Small on Monday, July 11, to Friday, July 15; Digging Into Dinosaurs on Monday, July 18, to Friday, July 22; Total Summer Fun at Pavilion 2 on Monday, July 25, to Friday, July 29; and Water Works at Pavilion 2 on Monday, Aug. 1, to Friday, Aug. 5.
Camps for children ages 9 to 11 will all take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They include Survival in Central Park on June 20 to 24 or at Pavilion 21 on July 18 to 22, PSI: Park Scene Investigators from June 27 to July 1, Camp H2O at Pavilion 2 on July 11 to 15, and Summer Spectacular at Pavilion 2 on Aug. 15 to 19.
Camps for youths ages 11 to 14 will all be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camps include Escape to Ultimate Summer Fun at Pavilion 2 on June 27 to July 1, A Lewis & Clark Expedition on July 11 to 15, Camp ECO on July 25 to 29, and Planet Protectors on Aug. 1 to 5.
