Free pickleball for beginners and experienced players of all ages is taking place at the tennis courts at James A. Umble Memorial Park, 173 Suplee Road, Honey Brook, every Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 6:30 p.m. through Sept. 19, weather permitting. Equipment will be provided, no experience is necessary, and no registration is required.
A series of half-day camps will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Honey Brook Elementary Center, 1530 Walnut Road. Campers will enjoy games, free play, crafts, trips to the Honey Brook Community Library, and more. Each week will have its own theme, and there will be no camp during the week of July Fourth. Registration forms are available at http://www.honeybrooktwp.com or at the Township Administration Office, 500 Suplee Road, during normal business hours. There is a maximum of 40 campers per week, the registration deadline is Saturday, June 15, and there is no on-site registration.
