Hershey Area Playhouse, 830 Cherry Drive, Hershey, will offer summer camps for students in grades one to 12. The June Performance Camp will run on weekdays from Monday, June 14, to Friday, June 25, with an evening performance on June 25. The Gardens Summer Theatre Camp will run on weekdays from Monday, July 12, to Friday, July 23, at Hershey Gardens, 170 Hotel Road, and the Playhouse, with a performance on July 23 at noon.
The June Performance Camp is open to students in grades one to 12 and will be divided into three ages groups with different times. The Gardens Summer Theatre Camp is open to students in grades four to eight. No prior acting experience is necessary.
There is a registration fee per student for each camp. Masks may be required depending on current CDC guidelines at camp time. Registration information is available at http://www.hersheyareaplayhouse.com in the Theatre Academy section. The student's grade is based on the grade the student will enter in the fall.
