Summertime Yoga Sessions Slated

Susquehanna Heritage and a local yoga studio have teamed up to offer special yoga sessions at Columbia Crossing River Trails Center, 41 Walnut St., Columbia, during the summer.

Sunset Yoga Classes will take place on Thursdays, May 30, June 13, July 11, and July 25, from 7 to 8 p.m. These yoga flow classes will be held on the deck as the sun sets over the Susquehanna River. Attendees should bring a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle. Registration is required, and there is a fee per class.

Community Yoga Classes will take place on Sundays, June 16, July 14, and Aug. 18. These free, beginner yoga classes will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. The instructors will provide modifications for the poses so they will be accessible to everyone. The class will be held outside on the deck or on the lawn overlooking the Susquehanna River, weather permitting.

For both programs, in the case of rain, the classes will take place inside the building. Registration is required by calling 717-449-5607 or emailing info@columbiacrossing.org.
