Senior Commons at Powder Mill and area professionals will present a Caregiver Support Group meeting for people with loved ones with Alzheimer's disease or dementia. The meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 5:30 p.m.
The topic of the discussion will be "The Importance of Staying Sensory Active With Dementia." Attendees will learn about activities they can do to help loved ones in advanced stages of dementia to stay sensory active, such as hand massages using aromatherapy, playing music, and more.
Refreshments will be available. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association will be accepted.
