SVCC Events Updated

Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce (SVCC) has announced fundraising event changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic social gathering restrictions. The Chamber's board of directors has made the following event schedule changes.

The 11th annual Taste of River Towns, scheduled for April 19, has been postponed until Sunday, April 11, 2021. The Thunder on the River Car Show, scheduled for Saturday, June 20, has been postponed until Saturday, June 19, 2021. The Antique, Art and Craft Show, scheduled for Saturday, June 27, has been postponed until Saturday, June 26, 2021. River Town Hops, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8, has been postponed until 2021, with the exact date to be determined.

Susquehanna Valley Marketplace Online is a new online fundraising event that will be available to consumers to shop during the month of August. Sponsorships and vendor registrations will be available in mid-June.

The Chamber has still tentatively scheduled the following events. The 32nd annual Bridge Bust will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3. The 20th annual Missy Glenn Memorial River Run 5K, originally scheduled for May 23, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14. The Christmas tree sale and poinsettia sale fundraiser will be held from mid-November through the holiday season. The Chamber reserves the right to cancel or postpone events as determined by government disaster regulations and/or for public safety, dangerous weather conditions, or low level of registration interest.

The Chamber and Visitors Center are currently closed and will reopen with reduced hours by appointment as soon as they are able to comply with CDC requirements.
