The Lancaster County Central Park swimming pool will open for the Memorial Day holiday weekend as well as the weekends of June 1 and 2 and 8 and 9. The pool will open daily starting Wednesday, June 12.
Swim lessons are also available at the pool and are held before pool public hours. Certified lifeguards and water safety instructors will lead participants in a program that includes sessions for infants through school-age children. Private lessons for people of all ages are also available.
Pool users can pay a set one-time membership fee for unlimited pool use for the 2019 season or purchase day passes. Day passes are available at the pool entrance, while season memberships and swim lesson registrations can be purchased at http://www.lancastercountyparks.org or at the park office, 1050 Rockford Road, Lancaster. Office hours are weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Discounted pool memberships for the 2019 season are available if purchased on or before Friday, May 24.
