The musical quintet Temple Avenue will perform jazz renditions on Sunday, May 23, at 2 p.m. on the deck of the Eicher Arts Center, 409 Cocalico St., in Ephrata Borough's Grater Park.
The group features vocalist Nicole Roberts, bass player Joe Plowman, saxophonist Andy Mohler, drummer Steve Tolnay, and pianist Colin Mekeel. Its repertoire includes classic popular songs such as "Me and My Shadow," composed by Al Jolson, Billy Rose, and Dave Dreyer, and "'S Wonderful," composed by George and Ira Gershwin.
The outdoor show is part of the nonprofit organization's 2021 series of admission-free weekend events for the public. The audience is encouraged to bring folding chairs to the show and to bring and wear protective masks. Donations to the Eicher Arts Center will be accepted.
