Christopher and Elizabeth Thomas of Red Lion have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amelia Rose Thomas of Hellam, to Dakota Gregory Seiple of Hellam.
The bride-elect graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School in 2012 and York College in 2016. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in marriage and family therapy concurrently with a Ph.D. in social psycology. She is employed by Dr. Nathan Shpritz, DDS in York.
Mr. Seiple is the son of Amy Seiple of Union City, W.Va., and Chad Seiple of Red Lion. He graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School in 2013. He is employed by the United States government at the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot. He is also in the Navy Reserve and holds the rank of LS1. He has served his country in Qatar, Kuwait, Italy, Germany, and Hawaii.
A Sept. 26 wedding is planned.
