TLC Sets Polo Match Fundraiser

The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County (TLC) will offer a polo match on Sunday, Sept. 8, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m at Brandywine Polo Club, 232 Polo Road, Toughkenamon. The polo match will begin at 3 p.m. The event is family-friendly, and children are welcome.

Attendees will learn about TLC's latest land acquisitions and conservation projects, as well as how they can help protect and steward the area's natural resources. Proceeds will benefit TLC's efforts to protect and conserve wildlife habitats as well as the natural beauty of the local land and watersheds in the community. The family-friendly event will include an art auction featuring local artists.

Food will be available to purchase from Natalie's Fine Foods and Catering. A drawing will be held for members, and attendees are welcome to become members at the event.

TLC's mission is to ensure the perpetual preservation and stewardship of open space, natural resources, historic sites, and working agricultural lands throughout southern Chester County. TLC has preserved nearly 1,500 acres in seven townships. It have five nature preserves that are open to the public, and a sixth 180-acre preserve is set to open within the next year. In addition, TLC offers year-round educational programs for participants of all ages, including summer camps, owl prowls, and history hikes.
