The Central Penn Toastmasters group invites residents to its open house to meet members and hear special guest and international speaker Tim White. The event, which is free to the public, will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Traditions of Hershey, 100 N. Larkspur Drive, Palmyra.
After hearing from the guest speaker, members and guests will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include prepared speeches, Table Topics (impromptu speeches), and evaluations. A regular member of the club will also speak and will be evaluated by another group member.
The group aims to provide an environment of support and positivity where members can develop communication and leadership skills. It meets each second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Traditions of Hershey.
