Singer-songwriter Martha Trachtenberg will perform at Emmaus Road Cafe, 1886 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, on Saturday, March 30. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the music will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Trachtenberg was a founding member of the Buffalo Gals, an all-woman bluegrass band. Music from her CD, "It's About Time," has received radio airplay in the U.S. and abroad. She currently performs with her husband, songwriter and producer Tom Griffith, and with the acoustic trio the Folk Goddesses. Trachtenberg's songs have been covered by several nationally known artists, including Little Toby Walker, Tony Trischka and Skyline, Nothin' Fancy, Missy Raines and Jim Hurst, and Dede Wyland.
