The Conestoga Valley School District (CVSD) board has appointed Michelle Trasborg as the new principal of Fritz Elementary School as of Aug. 13. Trasborg is taking over the role from Nicole Reinking.
Trasborg had been the K-12 English/language arts and ESL supervisor for CVSD since 2010. Trasborg is also an adjunct professor at Millersville University in the department of early, middle, and exceptional education. Prior to working at CVSD, she also served in a coaching capacity as a writing specialist and professional developer at Dallastown Area School District in York County.
Trasborg, who holds a principal's certificate and instructional supervisory certificate, earned a bachelor's degree in education and English from York College and a master's degree in educational leadership from Millersville University.
