Upstart Arts, an all-volunteer nonprofit, will present Oscar Wilde's comedy "The Importance of Being Earnest" as its first show of 2019. Shows will be presented on Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, March 17, at 3 p.m. at Upstart Arts' artistic home, St. John's Episcopal Church, 140 N. Beaver St., York.
As with the group's summer program touring Shakespearean comedies presented at local parks, all performances are free, donations are appreciated, and tickets may be reserved, as seating is limited.
