The Veritas Community has launched a four-week Advent series titled "Light," which will run through Sunday, Dec. 22. The series began on Dec. 1. The Veritas Community meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at the Community Room on King, 106 W. King St., Lancaster.
Advent is the season in which the Christian Church celebrates the coming of Jesus. The worship gatherings during the "Light" series will include Advent readings, candlelighting, musical worship, artistic expression, prayer, a message and dialogue around applying the message of each week as individuals and as a community.
