Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary 5752, 125 Longenecker Road, Mount Joy, will host its inaugural auction and basket giveaway drawing on Saturday, May 1, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Auction items will include antiques, collectibles, tins, houseware items, silver, crystal, china and home decor, Creative Memories paper and stickers, American Girl items, and jewelry. Some of the items to be given away in baskets include gift cards, family movie night items, wine glasses and a beverage gift card, and spa items. Food, including homemade baked goods, will be available for purchase. Food trucks will be on-site.
Proceeds will benefit veterans, their families, and community organizations.
