Virtual Art Programs Set

Adamstown Area Library will present a series of virtual art programs this summer by Michael Albert, American pop artist and author. Albert creates art out of cereal boxes, cardboard packaging, and other printed materials.

Through his workshops and videos, Albert shows people how to cut and paste materials into works of art. Adamstown Area Library invites people to watch the short introduction video posted on its Facebook page, gather the materials needed to do this project, and give it a try.

Albert will lead a live Zoom workshop for the library on Friday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m. To register, readers may visit the library's Facebook page or http://www.adamstownarealibrary.org.

Prior to the live event, Albert will provide three video demonstrations of his pop art collage projects. These activities, titled Modern Pop Art Experience and Collage Workshops, will be posted on the library's Facebook page on Fridays, July 31 and Aug. 7, at 2 p.m. for people of all ages to try at home on their own time schedule.
