This year's Smoketown Aviation and Technology Fair will be held virtually on Saturday, Aug. 15. The fair is a family event with a missionary aviation and technology theme.
Normally the event features airplane and helicopter rides, and many mission aviation organizations and other groups present displays and interact with attendees.
During the 2020 virtual fair, speakers representing various missions will be featured from 9 to 10:30 a.m. There will be a special children's presentation and a short mission challenge from the daughter of the founder of Wycliffe Bible Translators USA and JAARS Inc.
Other groups that will be represented include Mission Aviation Fellowship, Ethnos360, Inspiration Aviation Ministries Inc., Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), EMU at Lancaster, Mission Aviation Promotions, Moody Aviation and Mission Maintenance Service.
