Easterseals Office Olympix Home Edition, a virtual fundraising event, will be held from Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Saturday, Nov. 21. Teams of four to five players will compete against each other throughout the region.
Teams will receive a game kit after registration. The kit will include the items needed to complete the games. The games will be "Minute to Win It" style games for people of all ages. Teams may gather their players together, or people may play individually, at their leisure throughout the month.
Points will be given to each team for game times. However, teams can raise extra points by taking pictures of their team, sharing photos on social media, challenging others to compete against their team, raising additional money for their team, and registering their team before Thursday, Oct. 1. The top three teams will win gold, silver, and bronze medals.
To register a team, readers may visit http://www.eastersealswcpa.org/OfficeOlympixEdition. There is a registration fee, which includes a game kit. Scorecards must be returned via mail or email by Monday, Nov. 23. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
