Homefields, 150 Letort Road, Millersville, will host a virtual open barn on Saturday, May 30.
The event will feature videos from the organization's farm partners, a yoga video, and a virtual tour of the 23-acre farm, including greenhouses, pick-your-own fields, and a pickup area. Participants will have an opportunity to meet the Homefields Care Farm crew. The event will also include a live question-and-answer session with farmers via Zoom. Participants may register to win a sample farm share or tickets to Picnic in the Fields or a future Talks in the Fields.
Homefields reported that this will be its second year as Lancaster County's first Care Farm as well as its 20th season as a community-supported agriculture (CSA) farm.
