Volunteers are needed to provide Solanco High School students with personal finance information. On Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020, Junior Achievement will host a REAL Life program, a financial literacy forum, at Solanco High School, 585 Solanco Road, Quarryville.
Community volunteers are needed to assist with a financial education program for students. Local business people, retirees and other residents are invited to participate in the event. On-site training, breakfast and lunch will be provided. Those who may be interested are asked to email business teacher Stacy Shelton at stacy_shelton@solancosd.org.
The event will include demonstrations and activities involving volunteers and students designed to provide students with guidance on career exploration and planning as well as a better understanding of managing personal finance.
