Wagman Construction Inc. recently announced that Jan Wagner has joined the general contracting firm as president. He is based out of the company's corporate headquarters in York. In addition, Wagman has announced that Lisa Wagman Glezer, part of the fourth-generation leadership at Wagman, has been named president of Wagman Inc., the holding and management company for Wagman Construction Inc. and Wagman Heavy Civil Inc. Wagman Construction Inc.'s leadership and management team remains intact, and Mike Glezer remains as CEO.
Wagner has more than 25 years of management and leadership experience on diverse types of building construction throughout the mid-Atlantic region. He holds degrees in civil engineering and architectural engineering from Drexel University and is active in the community as a member of the Rotary Club of York, York College Civil Engineering Advisory Board, the Engineering Society of York, Boy Scouts and Associated Builders & Contractors.
Glezer was previously senior vice president and has been with the company for more than 20 years. In 2018, she was named to Wagman's board of directors, which includes six outside board members. Additionally, Glezer is board chair of the Transportation Construction Industries PAC (TCI-PAC).
In the community, Glezer serves on the board of directors for Associated Pennsylvania Constructors and Leg Up Farm. In addition, she is on the York County Capital Campaign Advisory Committee and other community advisory committees. She is a founding member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) South Central PA Chapter and the Heavy Construction Contractors Association (HCCA) - Women in Construction Committee in Virginia.
Glezer was among 12 women inducted into the inaugural Circle of Excellence at the 2019 Central Penn Business Journal's 2019 Women of Influence Awards event. She previously was recognized among Central Penn Business Journal's 2016 Women of Influence.
