The Elverson Walking Club (EWC) will take part in a Warwick Furnace hike of 2 to 3 miles on Sunday, May 26. Community members are welcome to participate.
The outing will be a road walk in a valley in Chester County near Warwick County Park. Participants will see the newly uncovered stonework of the 18th-century furnace
EWC members will meet at 1:30 p.m. at Warwick County Park to carpool to the site, as parking on-site is very limited. The GPS address for the park is 51 County Park Road, Pottstown. For more information, call Sue Uhler, the hike leader, at 484-948-5084.
