Ashley Waltemyer of Airville and Adam Phillips of Airville, along with their parents, have announced their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Harold and Dawnnette Waltemyer of Brogue. She graduated from Red Lion Area Senior High School in 2004 and from Drexel University in 2015, and she received a master's degree in nursing leadership. She is employed by WellSpan in York.
Mr. Phillips is the son of Duane and Jacquelyn Phillips of Athens. He graduated from Athens Area High School in 2007 and from Penn State Altoona in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering technology. He is employed by Tola Industries in York.
An Oct. 12 wedding is planned.
