Ward Releases Latest Book

Ruth McRoberts Ward of York has released her latest book, "How to Get Along With Everyone by Blending Personalities." The book was published by Nurturing Faith.

"How to Get Along With Everyone by Blending Personalities" intends to meet readers' personal and communication needs. In the book, Ward discusses how understanding differing patterns of temperament type is key to blending personalities, ultimately producing and improving communication, easing tensions and paving the way to getting along with everyone. The Myers-Briggs Temperament Indicator (MBTI) provides a catapult for understanding differing patterns of temperament type, and the book aims to simplify the concept so readers can include the skill in their communication strategies. "Blending Personalities" offers guidelines for nurturing relationships with one's children, partner, fellow workers, extended family and neighbors and for receiving personal help from God.

A graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Famous Writers School, Ward has more than 60 years of counseling experience, both in volunteer and professional capacities. She has been married for 64 years to the Rev. Jim Ward. The Wards have four children, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Ward served as a full-time substitute teacher for Dallastown for 13 years.

Ward's other books include "Devotions, a Family Affair," "Appreciation: What Every Woman Still Needs," "Encouragement, a Wife's Special Gift," "Self-Esteem: Gift From God," "Blending Temperaments," "Coaching Kids: Practical Tips for Effective Communication," "Yes, I'll Teach - Now What?" and "Worship Is for Kids, Too!"
