On May 5, Muhlenberg College, Allentown, held its annual honors convocation designed to honor and celebrate leadership and scholarly excellence and achievement. The awards recognize select members of the faculty and student body for their contributions to the college, to their peers, and to their disciplines.
Brooke Weber of Shrewsbury, Class of 2020, received the Dr. John A. W. Haas Award. It is awarded as a scholarship to a junior who has shown evidence of outstanding scholarship during three years at Muhlenberg. The award is given in honor of the fourth president of Muhlenberg College.
