Sara Wiberg from Mount Joy was one of two Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania graduate students who attended the Mid-Atlantic Placement Conference (MAP-C) in February. Wiberg and fellow Bloomsburg University attendee Casey Roberts are both enrolled in the College Student Affairs (CSA) program.
The two-day conference was sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Association of College and University Housing Officers, a regional association for residence life/housing staff, which includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. The event brought together college and university employers who have vacancies in residence life departments with candidates/job seekers.
Wiberg said she enjoyed meeting the prospective students and sharing information with them about the university. She added that she and Roberts entertained the job seekers while they waited to be interviewed.
