The marriage of Molly Hoshour and Eric Wieland took place on Aug. 8 at Akron Church of the Brethren. Pastor Tim Fleener officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jane Hoshour of Bowmansville and the late Barry Hoshour. She graduated from Garden Spot High School in 2004 and Lebanon Valley College in 2008. She is employed by Pilgrim Tours in Morgantown.
The groom is the son of Mark and June Wieland of Cranberry Township. He graduated from Mason Dixon Homeschoolers in 2009 and Slippery Rock University in 2016. He currently attends Eastern University. He is employed by Chester County Intermediate Unit in Coatesville.
The matron of honor was Beth Edwards of Chambersburg. Bridesmaids were Lauren Woodring of Philadelphia and Katie Vang of Denver, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Leah Hoshour of Akron and Alexandra Hoshour of Akron, nieces of the bride.
Serving as best man was Michael Hoshour of Akron, brother of the bride. The groomsman was John Sherk of Ambler.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother. Providing music for the ceremony were Ryan Morrow, Jason Roach, Nicole Hoshour, and Sarah Auker.
The bride wore a ball gown wedding dress with a dutchess satin bodice and tulle skirt by Madeline Gardner. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, roses, calla lilies, and chrysanthemums. The reception was held at the Terre Hill Community Memorial Park pavilion in Terre Hill.
After a wedding trip to Salisbury, Md., the couple resides in New Holland.
