Wohlsen Construction provided preconstruction and construction management services for the Declaration House, a new three-story community services hub in Denver. After 11 months of construction, the building is open. A ribbon cutting and open house event was celebrated on Aug. 27.
The 150-year-old building was previously known as the Denver House. REAL Life Communities led the project to give the building a new look and a new purpose.
The 19,433-square-foot building now features 10 affordable housing apartments, social service offices, retail space, and a mental, dental, and behavioral health clinic. Wohlsen was honored to have helped REAL Life Communities bring this vision to life.
