The Elizabethtown/Mount Joy Christian Women's Connection invites area ladies to its back-to-school brunch on Thursday, Sept. 5, at 9:30 a.m. at The Gathering Place, 6 Pine St., Mount Joy. The set price is inclusive.
The feature, Roberta Freeman of Elizabethtown, will share about the Star Barn. Vocalist Karen Stover of Hershey will provide special music.
Ginger Lawrence, from Texas, will be the speaker. Her topic will be "Deeply Rooted." As a U.S. Marine, she will share a story of how she found peace, life, joy, and forgiveness.
Reservations for the brunch must be made by Friday, Aug. 30, by calling Judy at 717-367-3076, Sandy at 717-367-5140, or Karen at 717-397-8987. Reservations not canceled by Tuesday, Sept. 3, must be honored.
