The theater program at York College will present guest artist Raphael Xavier on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Waldner Performing Arts Center on the college campus, 441 Country Club Road, York.
Xavier explores break and hip-hop dancing in an improvisational form through the lens of his own experience as a photographer for Hip Hop magazine and a musical artist. Extensive personal experience and research into the breaking form has led him to create his own technique called Ground-Core.
Xavier is originally from Wilmington, Del., but currently is based out of Philadelphia. His creative talents include dance, music, photography, and writing.
