YCPASR Presents Award

At its recent fall luncheon, the York County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of Retirees (YCPASR) presented the John J. Dillon Service Award to Lin Armetage in recognition of her years of service to the organization.

The award provides the opportunity for local chapters to recognize individuals who have given service to the association. Dillon was a past president of the association and a PASR volunteer. He held a 38 positions in PASR, ranging from the chapter level to state level. Armetage has served in a similar manner, primarily as YCPASR travel committee co-chair.

The YCPASR membership and guests in attendance at the luncheon also learned of the work Covenant House from its representative Kayla Michaels. Covenant House offers assistance to abused and trafficked children. During the luncheon, the organization collected $905 for Covenant House to continue its work in the community.
