The LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program is a free 12-week program that supports cancer survivors in regaining their physical, emotional, and spiritual strength.

The program will be offered from Monday, April 6, through Thursday, June 25, at three locations. The program will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at York Branch, 90 N. Newberry St., York; on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bob Hoffman Branch, 1705 Palomino Road, Dover; and on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Eastern Branch, 4075 E. Market St., Suite 20, York.

This health and wellness exercise program is conducted in a small group environment that includes individualized attention for each participant. Adult survivors are eligible to join the program during all stages of recovery. This program also serves and embraces the families and caregivers that have been affected by the disease through a free family membership throughout the course of the program.
